What's up with FS?
FS is the CIVL supported (or maybe previously supported) scoring
program that used by many scorekeepers at hang gliding and paragliding events
around the world. Race is the other. And in the US I use my PASCAL scoring
script running in SeeYou (which matches FS). You'll find FS here: http://fs.fai.org/. The last time there was an entry in the
FS Blog was September 11th,
2009. No response from the author on the
forum. No dates are set on the roadmap. Seems like there are lots of unanswered
active tickets. The last update was November 10th, 2009, see
here. No updates found
here. In the minutes of the February CIVL Plenary meeting (found
here) I found:
An updated and revised GAP scoring formula document is currently
being produced along with a document covering the options available in the FS
scoring software. This will be published shortly.
So far, I haven't seen this and there is no word on the CIVL web
site. Also no word on this:
The French altitude proposal on stopped task was shown and AG
confirmed that it could be implemented in scoring software but would be
dependent on an altitude measurement solution.
Perhaps the author has other things to do.
