I've been using the latest update from Flytec (http://ozreport.com/15.004#2).
It's working well and Flytec is about to release another update with automatic
zooming on the map screen.

The optimized route function puts you on a route that just touches the edges of
the turnpoint cylinders. This is great for large radius turnpoints.
