Crossing the country
Heading out of Cathedral City (next to Palm Springs east of Los
Angeles) just before a cold front hits (we could see the cirrus clouds coming)
we are on our way east and currently in Marana, Arizona (there is a Santa Cruz
Flats Race goal nearby). Looks like it will be raining in Los Angles (San
Bernardino) through Saturday starting Tuesday (and a slight chance of rain in
Palm Springs). 80 degrees here in Marana tomorrow and 74 in our
destination, Las Cruces, New Mexico. Mid seventies on Wednesday in Junction,
Texas. 70 degrees near Gulfport, Mississippi on Thursday, and into the Florida
panhandle on Friday at 73 degrees in Tallahassee. Looks like a good trip all the
way with no ice storms.
