David Filho setting up on launch:

The view from launch. Lots of moisture in the air. A long long ways to the
mountains to the west. There was a lot of shading until 3 PM. None the less Raul
and David were able to soar at 2 PM.

The view of the launch from the LZ. The launch is just below the clear area in
the middle of the picture on the ridgeline.

The landslide area was created when the owner of the launch to the right of the
one pictured above tried to bulldoze a road through the forest to the left of
the landslide to the top of the hill. He was reported and later (twice) the
ore-existing road to his launch (to the right of the landslide) was washed out
due to his work on the illegal road. So his launch and business (club house,
restaurant, etc.) on launch are closed down.
