GroupOn was bugging us to open it up again.. Of course, more money from them.

We do have another fifty to sell later this week in a neighboring area so that's
150 new students, two intro sessions each and we're only part time!

Hehe. It makes me think of doing it full time but it is still too much fun and
I'm afraid that if it was full time and I had to feed my family off of doing it
that it may be too stressful. At this rate though, it may have to be full time
just to fill the demand. :)

The real measure of these GroupOn type sites will be in a year from now. Ask the
schools that did them in a year from now what redemption rates they ended up
having and what their retention rates for continuing students were.

We did a tandem one in the fall, and that is great for cash flow and thrill
seekers but this one is all about recruiting potential students. We purposely
set it to be a higher price point to weed out the gifters, the cheapies and the
tire kickers - we want people actually coming to fly.

The downfall of all of this is I'm too busy to travel to comps. Family life is
keeping me from doing that these days as well as punching a clock to make a
living. I used to be self-employed to allow me to travel at will, but oh how
life changes! I really want to get to AZ this fall, we'll see.

I actually just sold my Litespeed today so I won't even have a glider to compete
on anymore.
