The TSSS starts on May 23rd in Luling, Texas an hour east of San Antonio. The
Midwest Championship ends on the 21st near Kankakee, Illinois. Google Maps says
that it is 1,148 miles from Kankakee to Luling and takes nineteen hours to drive
there. Belinda and I are flying from Chicago to San Antonio on the morning of
the 22nd. Hope to be able to take a test flight later in the afternoon in
Luling.

Jonny will no doubt be flying a Moyes Malibu. I will be flying a Northwing
Freedom made available for my use in exchange for advertising space here on the
Oz Report. It will be delivered directly to Joel Froehlich, the local dealer and
organizer of the competition, in San Antonio and brought to Luling by him. So I
can take the plane from Chicago without worrying about bringing a glider.

There are rumors of additional Malibu pilots coming to challenge the Wills Wing
Falcon 3 and the Northwing Freedom.
