Here is day 4:

Very windy early in the morning. Aodrenn still gives it a try while Pascal gives
the final tweakings to his new Moroccan iron basebar and Guillaume is getting
ready. The lifts are flattened and irregular because of the wind. It was too
early maybe.

Guillaume is next to take off; his progression is slow and the lifts are getting
weaker, but he still goes for his second cross country Moroccan flight. He seems
to be hitting ceiling around 3300m and the air mass is pretty stable by then.
He’ll land 30Kms later surrounded by kidds.

Aodrenn will take off twice more before calling it a day. The weather gets
worse. The wind gets stronger and we can see a sand storm afar. The cunimbs
start to suck it up and we decide to call it a day after waiting a couple hours
of waiting for the wind to slow down for Pascal to test his repairs. We are
going back to the Kasbah a bit frustrated.

Phiphi, Luc and Edouard just arrived last night but the weather forecast doesn’t
look great for cross country flying.

Pascal takes off around 10 am to finally try the repairs he has done on his
basebar. It’s now a real Moroccan craftsman's work. It seems that it does the
trick though. Nicki Warad, all is well.

The wind gets stronger and we have another electrical problem on the Ultra
Light. After diagnosing the whole electrical system and finally finding the
faulty switch, we decide to go spend the day Oz. We split in two groups. One
will go get what we need to fix the Ultra Light etc. and the other one will get
a chance to do some sight seeing. We will meet them a couple hours later after a
little stop at the local Ali Baba’s Cavern where we have been finding
everything, from the 02 tank to electrical switch. It’s time to visit the Atlas
Movie Studio with sceneries from Khundun, Lawrence of Arabia, Cleopatra etc. but
no Star Wars, it seems that it actually was shot in Tunisia.

The weather forecast for tomorrow announces 4000m to 4500m ceilings with again
some serious wind.
