In Orlando this week for spring break, we skipped the Disney mobs.
Instead, I took my kids to Wallaby Ranch, this state-of-the-art, enormous
hang-gliding facility (http://wallaby.com
). I had flown there six times last year for the filming of my PBS NOVA
miniseries, "Making Stuff," and knew that it was an incredible experience.

In the 39,000 tandem flights they've led since 1991, they haven't had a single
accident. They tow you into the air with an ultralight plane--no jumping off of
cliffs.

Pretty sure my kids'll never forget that day!
