The local Luling NWS forecast was updated and vastly changed
around 6 PM. Now instead of 10 mph winds on Tuesday we've got strong winds, 10
to 15 mph increasing to 20 to 25 mph with possible gusts to 30 mph (like today).
The NAM was earlier forecasting strong winds on Tuesday, so it looks like the
local NWS is not using NAM as their weather model.Here's the forecast for the week, which makes it look like not such a bad
idea to get out of town. I've invested $1000 in airline tickets and car rental
for this competition, so I'm committed.
