With a forecast for east winds, no one was ready to head north of
such a day. That didn't mean that the conditions here weren't excellent for
flying, and Pete Lehmann, BJ Herring and Gary Osoba did go flying while the
Brazilians went to Laredo.

The cu's were present only here in south Texas and along the coast. The winds
were east below 10 mph in the morning. The winds increased in strength in the
afternoon with strong east gusts.
