Launched between 10:30 AM and 11 AM. At 11:30 Mike is 12 miles out and Pete 7.
They are on a line to go well east of the Laredo airspace. Cloud base 3,400'
AGL. 400 to 600 fpm lift, winds about 10 mph (light).

Many doubts about going today or waiting until tomorrow or Tuesday. Heavy rain
north of us in some spots yesterday. I decided to wait given all the doubts.
Plenty of cu's after 9 AM. Streeting but not strong streeting. Forecast for cu's
along the course line.

1:23 PM: Mikey and Pete going slow decide to bag it with Mike 67 miles out after
three hours. Very slow (half the record speed).

3:15 PM: Pete decided to keep going and is 120 miles out.

5:34 PM: Pete landed south of Leakey, north of Uvalde on highway 83. 300 km.
