We are at the Fiesch Open competition right now (Switzerland) , and I found this
amazing post card in a tourist shop close to the launching. The black additions
are from me and make the picture (about the landing conditions here) even more
realistic.

I started hang gliding last year in the flatlands of north Germany than went to
Sweden for exchange study, where I again only flew in flatlands (together with
Andreas Osson). This is my first time in the mountains - holy shit!

I was following it real time on the DHV website. Alex Ploner missed the first
turnpoint I think because he didn’t touch the cylinder of the first turnpoint,
but he finished as one of the first pilots (2nd or 3rd).
