Roy Mahoney <<rmahoney>> writes:
Britton Shaw flew 77.6 miles open XC distance today in his Ozone
R11 paraglider, from Mount Magazine in Arkansas, to Rule, Arkansas. New Magazine
paraglider site record, Arkansas paraglider record, Region 6 paraglider record.
Best Region 6 cross country flight so far this year, hang glider or paraglider.
The working hang glider and paraglider pilots followed Britton on SPOT today
tracking his progress.
Britton flew 75.2 miles open cross country distance in this same wing on July
2nd from Buffalo Mountain, near Talihina, OK, to Okmulgee, OK, a new Buffalo
paraglider site record

Vista in Oklahoma, to west end of Sardis Lake, on July 18, a new Panorama
paraglider site record

I don't know if the track will still be up when you or anyone else might view
it:

Leonardo says its 78.2 miles launch to farthest point flown, or 78.5 miles
between furthest two points flown, not sure which is traditionally used for site
and/or state records.
