We drove south from Oklahoma City on Friday to Big Spring. No cu's
until we crossed the Texas border around noon, then there were a sky full of
them all the way to Big Spring. The forecasts look good with the temperature five
degrees hotter than normal (100). We should be getting very high.

I'll be out at the hangar tomorrow setting up the glider and getting ready to
fly on Sunday. Maybe a practice flight in the afternoon. Looks like plenty of
liquids are in order given the extreme conditions. Ron Gleason is calling for us
to do big tasks, 200 kilometer triangle on Sunday. The winds may be a bit strong
for that.
