Peter, the injured tug pilot is progressing slowly since surgery
to have a vertebra fused. He has gone from having no feeling or movement at all
from the thighs down to now being able to move his right ankle. He has started
physio and is waiting to be transferred from Hamilton to his local Etobikoke. In
very good spirits he is looking forward to getting back in the air. The Southwestern Ontario Gliding Association is in the market for a replacement
Dragonfly. The wrecked tug is club owned and the accident has crippled the club
financially. A N numbered is not a requirement in Canada so we will consider all
options. Club members are stepping up to challenge and fund raising has been
successful enough now to be considering a 9xx powered version.
