I was told by Vicki Cain that Heather had signed the petition. Who
is not going to believe Vicki? Later she told me that she meant that Heather had
"seen" the petition, not that she has "signed" the petition. When I found out
from Vicki what she had actually said, I corrected the error in the on-line
editions. Perhaps Heather doesn't understand the difference between an honest
error and a blatant lie.

I have no idea what Heather is talking about re the safety director at the 2012
pre-Worlds or 2013 Worlds. I suggest that she extend her runs a bit further.

Heather was the meet steward at the 2011 Worlds. I personally witnessed her and
Gerolf going toe to toe. Seemed like a fair fight to me. I didn't witness any
other confrontations that Heather might have run into and all and all it
appeared that things were much less stressful for her than at the pre-Worlds.
But then again I didn't see everything.
