We had so much fun in years past, we're doing it again!

Lookout Mountain Flight Park is hosting the third bi-annual Women's Hang Gliding
Festival October 27-30.

The three main goals of the festival are to fly with a bunch of female pilots,
to create a comfortable and safe environment for inactive pilots to regain their
confidence and get current, and to introduce the sky to the non-flying women in
our lives.

Planned activities include: fun flying tasks, mountain launching, aerotowing,
seminars/clinics, training hill classes, tandems, and evening festivities (Open
Mike night and our Halloween party). Don't forget your costume for our annual
Halloween party!

October is a beautiful time to fly. We generally get a mixture of light-wind
days and ridge-soarable days. Come fly beautiful Lookout Mountain!

While the festival is geared towards women who fly, we welcome and encourage all
pilots (regardless of gender) to join us for flying, fun and camaraderie. Come
for a celebration of women in hang gliding!
