An organization of passionate pilots and instructors, the U.S.
Hang Gliding & Paragliding Association (USHPA) develops programs that foster and
promote safe flying practices and shares information on these programs with the
public. Freelance designer and USHPA member Greg Gillam of Red Sands Production
Co. Was commissioned to create a short film on hang gliding safety, and with the
popularity of digital publishing, saw the opportunity to leverage the video and
create a digital publication available on the Apple iPad.
