After a promising first edition during which some pilots where

Morocco 2012 (new and improved), the first hang gliding flying camp in North
Africa is getting ready.

Based on last year's experience and weather statistics, it is safe to assume
that the second edition will take place in March, 2012. However, I have ordered
more precise stats from the government and I am waiting for the results as I
write this. The expedition will be over a four weeks period for a maximum of
about twenty pilots.

I have already contacted various Moroccan agencies and administrations which all
guaranteed their full cooperation for this new edition. Nevertheless, as we
experienced it last year, very long delays are to be expected for the processing
of the various authorizations and paperwork to be validated and this is why I am
launching the registration process 'so early'.

In order to do so, it is vital that all interested pilots get back to me by
November 15th. This will help to reduce risks and last minute surprises at
minimum and not increase the cost for participating pilots.

Based on the number of registered pilots at this point, we will be able to study
the viability of numerous factors coming into the equation (i.e. Transport of
the equipment by container or convoy etc.). It will then be possible to
establish a forecasted budget for the project and a price estimate per pilot.

The registration process is as follow:

. Become a member of the non for profit org Atout Vents which organizes the
expedition by paying the yearly twenty euros fee for 2012.

. By doing so, and after receiving the necessary info (scan of valid passport,
pilot's license etc.) your name will be put on the pre-official documents which
will be deposited at the various government agencies in order to get the
authorizations.

. On December 15th, I will ask for a non refundable 200 euros deposit (deducted
from the total cost at the end) to the pilots who will confirm their
participation.

. From there, the first payments will be spread starting sometime in January.

Just as a reminder, Atout Vents is a non for profit org and I am not making a
penny organizing this expedition. Nevertheless, my expenses over there, as well
as for tug pilots (trikes/micro lights) for example, are fully covered as the
organizing pilot.
