I regret to inform you that John Revelle, creator of the original
hang gliding harnesses, died last Thursday in Sydney. John's contribution to the
modern hang glider is second only to John Dickenson. John built the first
Dickenson Wing Clone and with his late wife Angie, pleased many crowds with
their high flying trapeze acts. John was a Water Ski Kite Champion as well as a
bare-foot water ski expert, being the first person to do a 360 degree turn while
