At Pine Mt in October we had extraordinary conditions that I have
never encountered before. I was able to gain 2000' above the clouds (12100' MSL)
in very smooth dry air. I made diving passes along the side of the cloud in
strong lift to get shots of the RAINBOW GLORY. Notice the glider shadow in the
glory.
