The Strip Mine in Sylmar is moving forward! The property owner has
hired a PR company and a consulting company and they're working now to gain
project approval. Once they get approval and start the project, people all over
the Sylmar area will be upset.

We need your help.  Please come to a special volunteer meeting where
others, like you, will meet to help stop this project. We'll talk about:

1. Talking to friends, neighbors, family, PTA and get their support and contact
information.

We need to inform all of Sylmar and the surrounding area.

We'll give out information at the meeting so you can get signatures, email
addresses and contact info

2. Planning a public event to get the community involved and informed before
it's too late

We need your ideas and help with this event

3. Help us refine the CASM campaign (CASM is Citizens Against the Strip Mine)
