Wills Wing Tool Kit
Description of the toolkit found
here. My take on tools needed for maintenance on a Wills Wing glider: You definitely want this: side wire bushing removal tool, $2.40. Found
here.
You'll also need a hammer to use this. For making adjustments to the tips to quickly and very easily eliminate turns, I
recommend a 7/16" gear or ratcheting wrench. For example, for a five piece set,
here. You can easily purchase just one 7/16" gear wrench at your local (in
the USA) hardware store. The large Phillips screwdriver bit is very useful (combined with, as I recall,
the 3/8" wrench), as is the small Allen wrench (again, SAE not metric
configuration) for the T2/T2C. Pilots outside the US, where SAE tools are not available, will find this tool
kit quite useful. The "crescent" mentioned in the description of the tool kit
refers to the connection between thicker and thinner diameter leading edge
tubes, sometimes referred to as eccentrics as they are off center. I don't have a T2C with me at the moment, so I haven't gone through and checked
each nut and bolt.
