Editorial errors
You might notice that from time to time (perhaps more often) I
will mistype something here in the Oz Report or substitute an incorrect word for
an another correct word. While I don't like making these errors, I've never
worried too much about it as I can also find similar errors in the on line
version of the New York Times, and they actually have editors who are different
people than the writers (although I don't have any details about how these
people are used for the on-line version). Well, today there was a great example of how the New York Times can really screw
up and I thought that I would share it with you. You'll find it in the last
paragraph of
this article:
An Internet memo referring to United Russia as the party of
crooks and thieves has become so well-known that it is now commonly seen on
T-shirts and bumper stickers here in Moscow.
