Gerolf is flying an updated version of the Moyes Litespeed RS 3.5, a nominally
named Litespeed RX 3.5. It isn't a final product, but a prototypical glider with
a narrow tip. Gerolf told me that it was a bit too nervous for him in turbulent
thermal conditions and he'd go back to a different sail cut. Many of the "girls" here are flying the Moyes Litespeed RX 3, which, of course,
is not yet certified. It is an update of the Litespeed S3. SO far all I've heard
is good news about the new RX 3's. Corinna loves hers. She'd fly a glider that
is too big for her (RS 3.5) in light lift areas (Europe), but appreciates the
control that she has on the RX 3 here in booming Australia. Day May's goal field interviews on Day 3:
