She's looking for your help, as are we. I've mentioned before that the Oz Report runs on the public radio (and now New
York and Los Angeles Times) model. We ask those readers who find the most value
in the Oz Report to support us. Not everyone will find it in their hearts and in
their wallets to pay for this service, but hopefully enough of you will see that
value of our service to subscribe. You receive the service before we ask you to support it. You can determine for
yourselves whether it is worth your time and money to continue to support it.
Sure, we'll never know if you are a free rider, but really no one has come up
with a better way. We are offering a lot of premiums to Oz Report subscribers to see if that
expands the pool of those who want to support us. Who knows if offering a little
something more than just the Oz Report in return for your support will seem like
a better bargain. We have a boat load of premiums to encourage you to support Scare and I as we
keep the Oz Report delivering the latest hang gliding news. See all the premiums
available to you here:
http://ozreport.com/premiums.php. Given that we are providing all these
premiums, it would be great if subscribers went a little bit beyond the minimum
$20 donation/subscription, as many of you have, and we are very grateful for
that. At the end of March I'll set up a random number generator to choose who get the
premiums from the list of 2012 Oz Report subscribers. There will be an order to
that list and those subscribers chosen will get to send in an ordered list of
their preferred premiums and they will be awarded based on the order of
subscribers chosen to receive premiums. If you are sending in a check do it quickly so that I will have it in time to
put you on the list to possibly receive a premium.
Please, help us out. Support something that you find useful so that it can
continue to be there for you. You can send $20 or $30 or more for a yearly subscription/donation. To pay for
your subscription with your credit card or PayPal account:

Our featured premium: 2012 Oz Report subscribers (by the end of March) are eligible to win a new
Skyline Survival M parachute. Up to 100kg - The pendulum free PDA canopy (Pull Down Apex / annular) - fastest
opening and minimum sink values! The rescue-chute Skyline SURVIVE was developed for the use with Para gliders or
Hang gliders. The first principle, constructing this chute, was to develop a
rescue device with less deployment time, low sink rates and high loading
capacity of the canopy. The special packing system guarantees a fast deployment.
DHV-license test: The Survive was dropped from a height of 60 meters at zero
acceleration with a weight of 70 kg. After two thirds of the dropping distance
already the rescue chute was fully deployed. In normal use the deployment will
be even faster, because pilots in most cases throw the chute away from the body.
