Not only do we provide a platform for advertising from the most important hang
gliding companies in the world and for the little guys that want to connect with
you, we also provide links to the upcoming competitions so that you can dream
and maybe even sign up for an upcoming competition. The ad buttons for the
competitions are provided free of charge to the organizers to help promote their
competitions.

In addition, I got the USHPA to provide free third page advertisements for all
US hang gliding and paragliding competitions in their magazine. In addition, I
got the USHPA to take the ad buttons that you'll see here and put them up on
their web site to advertise the upcoming competitions at no cost to the
organizers.

In addition, I provide weather forecasting services to all the US competitions,
scoring services, task committee wrangling services, web site development, and
other services at nominal or mostly at no cost, often in trade for entry fees.
This helps get me to the competitions so that I can report on the, which again
supports the meet organizers getting pilots aware of the competitions encourages
them to come to them.

I have worked for the last four years with Vicki Cain on the Forbes Flatlands as
de facto meet director, weatherman, and rewriting and editing the rules for the
2012 ore-Worlds and 2013 Worlds, based on my experience running the 2007 Worlds
in Big Spring, Texas. All of this experience and the accompanying stories and
inside insights get woven into the Oz Report, and my experience gets woven into
these competitions. All of this comes out in the Oz Report.

At the end of March I'll set up a random number generator to choose who get the
premiums from the list of 2012 Oz Report subscribers. There will be an order to
that list and those subscribers chosen will get to send in an ordered list of
their preferred premiums and they will be awarded based on the order of
subscribers chosen to receive premiums.
