The last day was pretty epic. We flew an hour earlier because of
the chance for over development. Super strong lift at the Penon and a good start
had us racing to get under the clouds. The task involved 3 turnpoints to a goal
close to the lake. I had a great time racing with David and Rodrigo, pushing
hard after getting to know the area a little.

In the end, I caught David in the back side of a turn with a 12.2:1 and grabbed
all the rope I had for a sprint across the last 6-7k's to goal. Super fun day
and a great end to a fantastic comp. This is a growing and enthusiastic group of
pilots from Valle, Monterrey and Guadalajara and they're as fun to party with as
they are to fly with. I'll be back next year, for sure (in good health this
time;-)
