Patrick Kruse <<patrick>>
responds to my question about how things went there:
No chutes thrown and the one accident that I know of was a broken
arm upon landing. Basically no drama, just great flying and a well run comp.
Conditions were strong and provided for consistent days with good challenges. I
am looking forward to the next Villa de Bravo comp and hope that other pilots
will have the opportunity to fly in Villa de Bravo as well as experience the
gracious hospitality of the Mexican pilots.

The conditions were strong with some associated turbulence but I
never felt to be in an unreasonable place on course and the terrain in Valle
seemed to be very well suited for racing, with good LZ options. We were getting
quite high for Valle but the comp felt safe, fun, with emphasis on fast racing.
I thought the organization did a fantastic job with organized retrieve and the
task committee was brilliant. No reserve deployments. The trees in, and
surrounding Valle De Bravo are tall!
