The task for the third day:

That is the C pilot task. The B pilots have to come back to the HWY292 turnpoint
as goal, and the A pilots have to return to the Florida Ridge.

A pilot or two made it to the goal. Derrick was the only A pilot to make it
back. Pilots were instructed to stay along the north south fire road after the
first turnpoint. Most of the pilots went down between the turnpoint and goal.
All landed near the fire road and were retrieved by the organization.

The sky was thick with cu's and there was a little too much shading that caused
pilots to go down. Pedro and Steve Larson went down helping their C pilots stay
up and thereby going so slowly that they got caught by the shading. Derrick was
sheparding two pilots, but one went down and the other C pilot made goal and
almost all the way way to the B pilot goal.

The Spanish-speaking team won the day, so now every team has won a day. The
Russians are in first overall.

The weather looks good again today. Light west winds, strong lift. A front is
approaching from the north during the day.
