Garlock to Trona airport (40 miles) is a popular route for pilots to get X/C
experience in SoCal. It's a bit closer to L.A. than Walt's Point although not as
spectacular. On the one day I attended this year, we had two pilots complete the
route for their first time along w/ 2 experienced pilots. Although the camera
and audio is from my own perspective, the overall experience is more or less the
same. Fortunately I was able to get everyone's tracklog and combined all 4
flights into a SeeYou 3D animated summary at the end.
