In the German hang gliding/paragliding forum, I have urged the DHV
to reconsider its position and to support the recognition of HGMA and BHPA hang
glider certifications in Germany. There has been unanimous support from the
pilots. Moreover, DHV officials have stated that they will discuss the issue on
their next meeting in June. They have also expressed that they - without
exception - found the situation at Tegelberg highly unsatisfactory from a
sportive point of view, but they felt compelled to act as they did for legal
