forum, I had Scare change the settings so that one had to register and sign in
if one wanted to lurk about in it.

You only have to register once and save your password in your browser. The next
time you come to the forum it will be automatically recognized and you will not
be asked to sign in again. A bit of a hassle, but nothing after the first time.
