sends this message from Klaus at the DHV <<Geschaeftsfuehrung>>:
The DHV board has decided that the DHV test department accepts
BHPA and HGMA pitch tests and load test procedure because experience has shown
that the same safety level has been achieved by the BHPA and HGMA certification.
That means, that if someone seeks to achieve for a BHPA or HGMA certified glider
the LTF certification, only parts of LTF not covered by the BHPA or HGMA
certification are necessary: test flying by DHV test pilot for classification of
glider behavior, manual in German language and documentation of the glider. This is considered to be the utmost DHV can do without violating the given
German air law.
