I received a note from Stephanie in charge of reservations at the
Francisco Grande. She reminded me that our block of rooms (and the special rate
for pilots) will drop off after August 1st. Although there may still be rooms
available after this date, there is no guarantee and the rate goes back to
normal without our discount. So, pilots should book rooms as soon as possible
and remember to get online and register for the competition as well so that we
can start to get a count for tug purposes.

The rate comes down from $159/day for an executive suite to
$89/day with Jamie's discount. No rooms appear to be available at $69, but some
at $79.
