Ricker Goldsborough representing the Cloudbase Foundation
presented three Big Spring institutions that help children with checks totaling
$6,000 raised by the foundation, most often from contributions from hang glider
pilots. The city is very grateful for the help that we provide for their
citizens and are always excited when the hang glider pilots come to town. It is
a big event for the town.

There is not other place in the US where hang glider pilots are so welcomed and
so supported. We get the use of a huge airfield, the terminal building a hangar,
wireless internet, free ice cream, spot landing contest prize money, numerous
volunteers from the city. We have figured that the support is worth about
$20,000/year to us.

Nothing in our experience comes close to what we get from these folks and we are
so happy to give back.
