Due to smoke from the Halstead, Mustang and Trinity Ridge fires,
the Idaho DEQ has issued an orange air quality alert for Custer and Blaine
counties including the cities of Challis, Stanley and Sun Valley.

A new fire broke out Thursday west of Ketchum on Red Warrior Creek Ridge.
