Deputies with the Ada County Sheriff's Office are investigating a
possible mountain lion sighting near the Greenbelt this morning.

We are told that a woman was out walking her dog around 10 a.m. when she spotted
a large cat that was bigger than her dog. She was near the footbridge over the
Boise River that is east of the RV park and campground by Expo Idaho.

Fish and Game has a zero tolerance policy for mountain lions that come into the
city. They have to be shot and killed. Anyone who spots a mountain lion is urged
to contact police or the Idaho Department of Fish and Game.

They spotted the cougar again this morning on the Greenbelt.
