Here in Texas we've seen migrating birds heading south. We saw
many cranes one morning flying a trike. They gaggle in thermal lift, then glide
off spread out until they group up again in lift, the north winds that day
helping them gain distance south. Texas sees some cooler weather and grey skies
for a few days and that whets the desire for Valle de Bravo Winter action.
There is the Monaraca Paragliding Open much earlier in January than years past,
Jan 6 - 12 and means the New Years swarm will be even swarmier. We have a number
of folks already on the books for then. March sees the Classic Hang Gliding Comp
the 1st thru 9th. Then March 23rd is the day Jeff turns 50 years old. You just
have to wait long enough to throw a party like we will throw.
Things look good for another season - sites, vehicles, crew, lodging. We're
looking forward to seeing y'all as well.
