A hang-glider pilot was in a stable condition in Canberra Hospital
last night after she crashed near the ACT/NSW border.
ACT Ambulance officers found the 35-year-old woman near Hall where she was
stabilised and moved to the hospital. She had suffered an upper arm fracture.

I don't know how to say this without sounding like a bloody idiot
but it was me. I'm fine. It was on the news 30 minutes after it happened. Looks
like the 000 girl loves to talk.
Broke my arm same place as last time. Almost exactly the same time as last year,
in very similar circumstances. Coming in on final, thinking I had given myself
plenty of paddock. Well turns out I didn't and came to a stop at Dave's glider.
Tried to flare into it but my side wires caught his glider and spun me in.
10 weeks recovery. I've decided not to do Forbes.
