Saturday is registration day. Pilots who will want to go flying will need to get
there early to register and still have time to get out to the airfield and fly.
The high on Friday was 39 degrees Celsius (101 Fahrenheit).  And the
forecast for Saturday is 42 degrees Celsius (108 Fahrenheit).  109
Fahrenheit on Sunday.

I'm asking all pilots to soak their tee-shirts in ice water every half hour.

The spot landing contest starts at 9 AM, sponsored by Redbull. Thirty or so
pilots have entered. So lots of conflicting demands on pilots' time today, with
the spot landing contest, registration, and a hint that this could be a big
flying day. Tomorrow is the official practice day.

My biggest safety worry now is the heat.
