Finally got the Kali Avatar 2 Carbon. Chopped the chin guard off.
150 grams lighter than my last helmet (4fight LT) with almost twice the
crushable foam and overall superior construction. A hundred bucks cheaper too.

Since the World Cup 2014 our new keel has been a success. The
pilots are excited about the flying and the optimized coupling of the flap and V
- tail.
With the new keel with small fin, it was possible to reduce the sweep and twist.

We flew whaleback a few days ago with Jim Zeiset's help. Climbs to
15 grand to cloudbase. Lift all over. Pete flew 78 miles and I did a 49 mile
triangle. Many flights of four plus hours. Reggie Jones is running a spot
