Pilots who are outside the middle slice of the "normal" bell
shaped curve for height (and weight) often have a difficult time getting a
glider that "fits" then well. Smaller, lighter pilots may find that the control
bar is not very high off the ground when they lift the glider up onto their

It’s the “morning after” the flight yesterday and upon a
non-frosty beverage colored reflection I have to agree with you. It’s pretty
darn good flying in Florida now. The climb I got after the Wallaby turn-point
right over US27  is the best climb I ever remember having in Florida. Solid
