Director with a flight school told me that he had received 200 to 300 leads and

It's nice to have a mobile (as they say in Europe) or cell (as

The cu's up high are still with us and it looks like they will be
until sundown
The forecast for Saturday was for light winds (I won't go into the
fact that the RUC called for 15 mph out of the southeast later in the day), and
we had light and variable winds with a predominant flow out of the southeast
from 3 to 9 mph. Cloud base was 5,500'... mehr

The
National Weather Service called for 74 degrees as the high on Friday. But
when I looked at Dr. Jack's RUC
miniBLIPSPOT forecast and noticed the forecasted surface temperature was
much lower:Instead of 74 it was 67.7. This would make a big difference in lift value,
height of lift, and cloud base.

Paul Montville, the USHPA Executive Director, and non pilot, will
be visiting southern Florida during the upcoming competitions. Every USHPA staff
member is assigned to attend one function in 2010. They get to pick which one to
go to.Paul says that he will later be going to the Northeast to visit Ellenville and
