feet when he fell 200ft onto boulders but still remained conscious. He managed
to dial 999 and fired a distress flare before helping to guide rescuers to where

9th of August - the first task: 95 km with three turnpoints, just
kind of ridge soaring back and forth. 37 pilots made goal. I made it to the

When loading or unloading Jonny's glider the day before, Tim
Ettridge fell and dropped the glider. The leading edge broke, although he didn't
know it at the time and the fall seemed insignificant. It was a
minor fall for it to result in a broken leading edge. The question that
naturally arises is, did he damage his glider when he crashed... mehr
