A pyrocumulus cloud taken at the beginning of the Stouts Creek
forest fire, now 18,000 acres and still growing fast. Local residents claimed
that lightning and rain emanated from this fire-generated cloud on an otherwise

The pilots gave $2,800 and the Cloudbase Foundation added another
$1,000, so we raised a total of $3,800 for foster kids and kids who have been
