With the forecast for southwest winds three knots less than
yesterday we head to Mount Subassio just above Assisi an hour to the southeast
of Sigillo. The launch is even flatter than Montecucco and the hill rounder
which allows us to launch in winds that would make it difficult at Montecucco.

It was too windy here at Montecucco, so the Germans went a little
south to a launch that had light winds. They got to 13,000'. It was cold up
there.
Pouring rain here at headquarters on Wednesday just before 1 PM. No task
today. Four days of no flying for most of us here. mehr

backwards than forwards. But he flew for two hours and top landing and
pushing out without running to launch. Only a couple of pilots flew.
