Sprogs-The Movie
In this video you will see the inside of Dustin's sail and the sprogs as they react to Dustin speeding up. When the VG is loose, you only see the inboard sprog. The cable is loose, which tells you that the sprog isn't doing anything other than sitting there.

Most of us took the day off, as it was a little windy (we are all spoiled and just want to do out and returns and triangles as the record is 283 miles and too hard to beat). A good day to go up highway 301 (which was true of Saturday also, but they went up Interstate 75). Huge cloud streets. The clouds were sucking up the tandems.

Friday and Saturday proved to be great flying days once again and it looks like we'll continue to have one great flying day after another. On Friday the task was out and back to Fantasy of flight. Saturday it was open distance to the north. Actually the wind was only 10 mph on Saturday so we should have done a local task.

There were magnificent cu's around all day long, but neither Dustin, Greg, Paul or I went flying. The winds were out of the east about 5 to 10 mph. We had flown hard on the previous two days with little wispy cu's here and there. It looked a lot better on Thursday, but we were already flown out.

Part of my job is to expose what our "betters" are up to in our name. I've been taking on the USHPA a lot lately, but CIVL is up to a bunch of mischief in preparation for the Worlds so it will be getting some attention.
