The Bluetooth feature is available, but it only for SMS tracking
using a compatible cell phone. This feature works well in Europe where most
networks and available phones support DUNN. This is not the case here in the US.
I have been able to get it to work here, but IMO it is not worth the hassle.Flytec has...

One of the primary developers/programmers of XCSoar is working on
new tactical flight computer (software) named LK8000. He has made very good
progress with LK8000 so far and is currently at Beta v1.16. My limited knowledge
of the project is that it evolved from XCSoar and as such was geared...

I wrote a few days ago about a
motion to amendthe
existing 2006 USHPA Competition Rulebook, specifically the section on National
Team Member Code of Conduct. This motion was tabled and sent back to the
Competition Committee (by itself) for review and didn't go to the BOD.One thing that is funny about this motion, is that it is an amendment to...

Bill is using my scoring program (I wish I had a name for it) that
works inside of SeeYou, to score the 2009 Gulgong Classic. It will be used in
January for the Corryong Cup, also in Australia. I use the program to score the
hang gliding competitions in the US. One thing I like about it is that it is
easy to use, if you know how to use...

Chris Fogg, the General Manager of the HGFA has resigned,
apparently, according to my sources, just before he would have been let go by
the new HGFA BOD.With a new board, and presumably a new General Manager, we can expect new
directions, and hopefully reduced fees. I'll attempt to keep you up to date.
