With a heavy overcast and a good wind the day starts with mist in
the air. The start window is set to open at 4:30 PM so we don't go up the hill
until about 2:30 PM. As we setup on the higher launch the mist gets a bit
thicker and the gliders get covered with droplets. Cloud base is... mehr

It is good that we have two practice days here as the new pilots
need to get accustomed to the site. Dustin is already aware of just how to fly
here but Jeff Shapiro and Kraig Coomber and others (like me) need a refresher

The prospects for good flying conditions were bright Tuesday morning as we woke
up to sunshine and cu's. When we got to the launch after noon it was coming in
